The dangers of NASCAR are common amongst the driver but has become more of a scary reality for the spectators involved after a recent collision involving Kyle Larson, driver of car No. 32 and Brian Scott, driver of car No.2 at Daytona International Speedway on February 23, 2013. The crash occurred at the end of a Nationwide Series Drive4COPD 300 race. As a result of the collision, debris, including an entire engine, reached up to the stands on the second level. A total of twelve patients were admitted to the hospital, and re in critical but stable condition.
